My name is Talia and I’m a licensed esthetician and certified holistic health coach based in Millburn, NJ.
I struggled with persistent acne for over 10 years. I tried everything short of oral medication and nothing seemed to give me lasting results. I made lifestyle, diet and holistic skin care changes that finally got my skin under control - despite my PCOS diagnosis. Although my skin was now clear, I still didn't feel good enough. In my early 20s, the rise and normalization of injectables, invasive treatments and expensive "tweaks" felt overwhelming and increasingly tempting. But something about the way we were going about "beauty" wasn't sitting right with me.
I enrolled in Esthetics School and the Institute for Integrative Nutrition simultaneously, immersing myself in as much relevant education as I could find. I have shadowed some of the most prominent figures in the holistic skincare industry, and have experience in traditional spa, med-spa, and wellness center environments. Throughout, I saw women feel powerless to their reflection and hopeless of ever feeling good enough. That's where True Beauty by Talia comes in...
